Academic Integrity Policy
This academic integrity policy explains how Papers Open expects its guides, templates and examples to be used.
What we stand for
Academic integrity means doing your own work and being honest about the sources you use. Papers Open exists to help you learn how to structure and write your own papers.
What we do not do
- We do not sell papers or essays.
- We do not write papers, essays or assignments for submission.
- We do not offer ghostwriting, exam help or contract-cheating services.
How to use our materials honestly
- Use outlines and templates as a structure, then fill them with your own ideas and research.
- Treat sample papers and excerpts as models of structure and style. Do not copy them.
- Cite every source you quote, paraphrase or draw ideas from, in the style your instructor requires.
- Follow your institution’s rules on the use of software and AI tools in coursework.
Plagiarism
Submitting another person’s words or ideas as your own is plagiarism and can lead to serious penalties at your institution. If you are unsure whether something needs a citation, cite it or ask your instructor.
